Scope/Purpose of the Position


Entry level position in escrow is responsible for the time review of escrowed and non-escrowed accounts for accuracy.  this position reviews both taxes and insurance accounts for verification purposes and may make corrections to accounts under the direction of the manager or a team lead. This position may perform data entry, or may review or run reports.  Duties may include research, data entry, projects and reporting. this position may also perform back up for other team members and may assist others as needed at the request of the managers. The position will have interaction with team members, other departments and may work with vendors. 


Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Review various system generated reports to ensure accuracy of loan escrow data from new loan set up. Identify and correct inaccuracies in due dates, or amount from Vendor Set up. Run validation reports to monitor Vendor  performance
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reports and gather reporting data from various sources for reporting
  • Provide loan level information as requested for projects or perform research for responses to inquiries from customers or third parties
  • May provide back-up due to absence or as need arises to other team
  • Assist with preparation of check, wire requests and supporting documentation, monthly invoices 10%
  • Assists the Vice President Escrow Special Loans with any special projects or tasks as required.

  • Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints.
  • Excellent level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Excellent level of oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate across a variety of audiences.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills and the ability to function in a windows environment utilizing Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills. Solid decision making skills with display of professionalism in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices and procedures.
  • Strong time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Committed to taking responsibility and ownership for agreed actions and delivery.
  • Reports to work on a daily and timely basis.

Minimum Qualifications

  •  High School Diploma or Equivalent.
