Responsibilities

Scope/Purpose of the Position

 

Draft new policies and procedures or update existing policies and procedures in response to investor/regulatory audits, due to changes in the LOS, or industry or investor changes.  Obtain approval from key Stakeholders and publish documents. Provide daily support to Legal and Compliance Departments. Research past Alerts, policies and other resources as needed in response to requests from General Counsel or his staff

 

 

  Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Work with a variety of stakeholders, including Operations, Legal and Compliance senior management, to understand, clarify, create, research and update document content.
  • Gather, prepare, and design/coordinate the layout and organization of information and other documents/media for distribution to large audiences including the Month in Review company newsletter.
  • Utilize effective project management tools, including planning, scheduling, researching, and following-up, while using sound judgment to allow flexibility and change where appropriate including participation in various company committees and associated task management.
  • Document the delivery of information and associated announcements to ProspectNOW and the Quickbase Document Library. Archive communications as required in order to produce at a later date if necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Specialized training for technical writing/process management a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years policies and procedures analysis and documentation development experience in the mortgage lending industry required
