Scope/Purpose of the Position


This position will work closely with the Loan Administration Quality Control Supervisor in administering the loan administration quality control program by coordinating and facilitating the quality control process.


 Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Review loan files for HomeBridge to ensure adherence to established servicing guidelines for servicing transfers, collections, default, loss mitigation, escrow, payment processing, including renovation loan files (including FHA 203(k) and Fannie Mae Homestyle) and other standard mortgage servicing functions.
  • Prepare findings for distribution and reporting; ensure all rebuttals or escalations are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify potential red flags or areas of risk and monitor progress of proposed corrective actions toward resolution.
  • Maintain a knowledge and understanding of quality control audit software utilized by HomeBridge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Perform quality control audits of all servicing functions for 300 to 400 loans per month.
  • Adhere to a 120-day timeframe for all individual quality control audits. Timeframe encompasses loan selection to final reporting.

  • Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints.
  • Excellent level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Excellent level of oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate across a variety of audiences.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills and the ability to function in a windows environment utilizing Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills. Solid decision making skills with display of professionalism in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices and procedures.
  • Strong time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Committed to taking responsibility and ownership for agreed actions and delivery.
  • Reports to work on a daily and timely basis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of mortgage lending/servicing experience.
  • Default servicing experience preferred.
  • Experience in quality control, quality assurance or auditing of business processes preferred.
