Responsibilities

Scope/Purpose of the Position

Processes loans in adherence to product guidelines and company standards. Acts as a liaison between the loan officers, customers and various departments throughout the company.

 

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Performs all aspects of the loan processing checklist
  • Responsible for reviewing and scanning loan documentation into the document management system and properly labelling all items.
  • Responsible for daily updating of Encompass with accurate information regarding their pipeline.
  • Reviews data noted in the loan origination system and compares it to the documentation received, as it relates to basic data, such as: accurate loan contact information, loan term information, and program selected.
  • Assists the Processor in obtaining follow-up loan documentation.
  • Assists in following up with borrowers to correct provided documentation that the borrower fails to provide correctly.
  • Assist with follow up calls on status of files each week
  • Assist with making sure contacts are input correctly into Encompass
  • Ordering payoffs, requesting prelim CDs from title
  • Requesting and following up with borrowers regarding Hazard
  • Act as a backup to the receptionist as needed.

Work Experience and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints.
  • Excellent level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Excellent level of oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate across a variety of audiences.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills and the ability to function in a windows environment utilizing Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills. Solid decision making skills with display of professionalism in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices and procedures.
  • Strong time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Committed to taking responsibility and ownership for agreed actions and delivery.
  • Reports to work on a daily and timely basis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
