Scope/Purpose of the Position
The purpose of the Invoicing Specialist position is to review and process default related invoices for payment.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Input line item expenses from invoices from Default vendors into LoanServ for management review
  • Review incoming invoices from Default vendors for compliance with investor/insurer/HomeBridge guidelines
  • Review and resolve management invoicing inquiries
  • Generate and mail invoice payments
  • Partner with applicable Default teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies
  • Monitor and notify management of any investor/insurer updates to invoicing guidelines

Work Experience and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  •  Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and apply sound business math
  • Ability to analyse and resolve routing problems within estimated time frames
  • Able to use standard office equipment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with a 10 key calculator
  • Comfortable with a highly technical environment utilizing computers, software and programs
  • Intermediate or greater knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal management oversight
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by the business


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic accounting skills
  • 1-2 years of Default Loan Servicing experience
  • Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and USDA Default servicing guidelines preferred
  • Prefer 1-2 years of FiServ/LoanServ experience
